Oukassa K. Wetzel

President

Oukassa is a human right activist who has always been driven by humanitarian work. An expert on the law of armed conflicts (Geneva), Oukassa works as a diplomat in The Hague.

President & Founder of Aflé Bijoux GmbH and Aflé Bijoux Inc, an international jewellery brand inspired by the rich Akan culture (West Africa) which aims at empowering women, Oukassa has founded La Fondation AFLÉ (Côte d'Ivoire) to promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals in West Africa and help women and children live their lives to their full potential.

Abinan Sewa Deki

Vice-President 

Director of the General Ressources Department at the Banque Populaire de Côte d'Ivoire, Abinan started her carreer in the airline industry and has acquired a solid 17 years of work experience in finance and management control.

Abinan has always been driven by caritative work. She is the current Immediate Past-President of the Rotary Club Abidjan Lagunes which she joined in 2013.

Abinan is a member of the Women in Logistics and Transports (WILAT) which promotes gender equality in this sector. She is the Head of the employment and carreers Commission.

Florence Olara

Vice-President

Florence is a lawyer by education and has over a decade of experience in international public relations, media and outreach. As former Public Information Officer of the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, she has extensive experience with the complexities of narratives and reporting on human rights violations and the protection of international justice mechanisms. With her own history as a refugee from Uganda to the United Kingdom, she has dedicated herself to building cross-discipline partnerships where diplomats meet victims and creative industry inspires youth to choose a pathway of prosperity rather than destruction. Throughout her carreer, she has established strong networks with those directly shaping international peace, justice, and security in order to strengthen human rights and protect those in need.

Florence holds a Master degree in International Relations with Distinction from Staffordshire University and a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honors from the University of Westminster.

Fatou Koffi-Oura

Secretary General

Fatou Koffi-Oura has a solid experience of 17 years acquired in the financial and telecoms fields. She is a professional in Audit, but also in governance and banking compliance.

She has proven knowledge of the functioning of the financial market (stock market) of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) and of all the regulations in this area.

She is the President of Venus Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire which empowers women through financial autonomy.

Valérie Boa

Treasurer

20 years of experience in the field of banking and insurance, Valérie has been involved with the financial management of several organizations in Côte d'Ivoire. From financial planning and budgeting, financial reporting to reviews of procedures, book keeping and fundraising, she oversees the foundation's financial administration. 

Laetitia Kakou

Legal Advisor CIV

Laetitia is a Spanish lawyer specialized in the protection of minorities making sure that vulnerable, disadvantaged or marginalized people in our society achieve equality and that their human and economical rights are respected.

 She has successfully represented many associations.

She is the head of LKAvocats, Cabinet juridique (Abidjan).

After 22 years spent in Spain, Laetitia has developed tangible relations with Spanish investors and other commercial partners.

Faiza Alleg

Legal Advisor EU

Faiza Alleg is a French qualified lawyer with more than 10 years experience in International business law and Trade development, cross border sanctions. She worked as a regional legal director for EMEA and Latin American regions for a global company operating in the natural resources industry. She is a specialist in cross boarder sanctions, as well as anti-bribery compliance practices. 

Kadidia Sow

Board Member

Kadidia is the president/founder of "Sauvons 2 Vies", an NGO that promotes better practices to improve maternal and child health and fight against infant mortality in Côte d'Ivoire.

With more than 40 years of experience, this retired mid-wife is a pioneer in the field of reproductive health in the country.

"Sauvons 2 Vies" main activities include raising awareness about early pregnancies in schools, providing young mothers or women who were raped with psychological support, training midvides throughout the country.

"Sauvons 2 Vies" is the priviledge partner of AFLÉ foundation.
